Bartlett Historical Society
Bartlett Historical Society is open Saturdays from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Society’s home located on Route 16 just north of Heritage-NH in Glen. For more information please call the Bartlett Historical Society at 603-383-4110.
The Fiddle Hikers
The AMC Pinkham Notch Vistors Center will present the Fiddle Hikers at 8 p.m. Enjoy song and dance with this talented group of student string players. All programs are free and open to the public. For more information pleaase call 603-466-2727.
Annual Fall Festival and Scarecrow Contest at Setters Green
At this festive annual event at Settler’s Green Outlet Village in North Conway, Vermont artists Kate and Ernie Brown demonstrate the art of pumpkin carving and invite you to join in by carving a pumpkin of your own. There will be free pumpkins to the first 150 children. There will also be dozens of life size, homemade scarecrows throughout Settler’s Green. Traditional, humorous and just plain weird scarecrows compete for over $2,500 in cash awards and recognition. Entries are welcome! Free workshop! There will also be:

Fryeburg Fair
This is Maine’s Blue Ribbon Fair, with a 150+ year tradition. Spend the day with the family taking in the sights and sounds of a country fair. Enjoy games, prizes, contests, rides, food, animals, special events and entertainment. This is Maine’s oldest fair and features a full range of entertainment, competitions, and booths galore. Take the kids on the rides, or enjoy some of the wonderful fair fare at the food booths. It’s a week long event that offers fun for the whole family.
